Specialized Fitness Resources, the Miami-based provider of sports surfacing, will sponsor the MIA Classic on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at CrossFit Soul Miami. The event has 75 competitor slots for weightlifting athletes, both male and female, and it is open to spectators.
The MIA Classic is an Olympic lifting meet comprised of two contested lifts, including the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. The Snatch and the Clean and Jerk, two lifts essential to CrossFit training, bring speed, power, coordination, agility, accuracy and balance to strength training.
