BasicTexasHoldem.com Announces Changes

(PRWEB) March 31, 2005

BasicTexasHoldem.com is pleased to announce a complete new look. This new format allows the additions of a Poker News feature along with a freeroll tournament listing and the much anticipated “How I Got Started”.

The news section provides information on current events of both online and live play. The material covered includes the legal environment, upcoming major tournaments, and editorial comment by some of the worlds’ greatest players. It is updated throughout the day with the latest stories available.

The freeroll tournament listing encompasses online tournaments that can be played for free and are starting within the next two hours. The list is automatically updated as each tournament begins and provides an excellent resource for new players to test their skill at no cost.

We are excited that our “How I Got Started” section features the “davidross” journals in its debut. The journals provide one of the most followed inside looks into the world of an online poker player. Originally posted on the 2 + 2 Poker Forum, they became an awaited weekly look into one man’s victories and defeats after deciding to play for a living online.

The journals coincide perfectly with our ongoing efforts to assist the new player in learning the game of Texas Holdem. They list various hand histories and provide the why and how of each action as the hand progresses.

Though operational, the site development is continuing and is expected to be fully completed late Spring of 2005.
